What Teachers Say
Loved in Montana Classrooms
“TRY Rugby was a fantastic and engaging way to introduce the sport of Rugby to my students. My students loved it, remained engaged the entire class period, and left with new learned skills and tired bodies. Well done!”
Kjel Olson Bozeman — Anderson School
“I was a bit apprehensive to have TRY Rugby in our school, but after having them with us I would certainly do it again! They promoted their sport well, but they also lifted up our school sports even more. They are strong advocates for kids getting involved in all activities.”
Brett Bollweg Whitefish Middle School
“I've been looking for something new to add to the curriculum. This fit the bill. The presenter was engaging and able to read the groups and adjust as needed. The enthusiasm of the staff for the sport is evident, and they genuinely engage the students to generate interest.”
Jeff Mead Savage Public School
“I would recommend TRY Rugby to any school, at any level. My students had the opportunity to learn a new sport and skills from an expert that made the lesson fun and enjoyable. MIS is amazing and I cannot wait to have them back to CFHS next year!”
Cydney Finberg-Roberts Columbia Falls High School
“TRY Rugby is an excellent way for kids to find an outlet that gives them a chance to express themselves in their own individual way. Students really gravitate to an activity that involves physical, mental, and social growth. I would recommend TRY Rugby to any school.”
Steve Grady North Middle School — Great Falls
“TRY Rugby came to our school and introduced the sport to high school and middle school students. They loved it so much I had them come back for a second day to introduce it to the elementary kids! I would highly recommend bringing this to your school.”
Maggie Spicher North Star School — Rudyard/Gildford
“TRY Rugby was a great experience for all classes. Students loved learning and practicing the skills and can’t wait to do Rugby again. TRY Rugby teachers were great with the classes and kept everyone moving and engaged. I would recommend TRY Rugby to all schools.”
Mark Aamot Monforton Middle School — Bozeman
“I love the TRY Rugby program and would recommend it to other elementary schools. It is something different and exciting and the kids were eager to play. I am going to have them visit my two other schools that I go to this year.”
Shelly McLaughlin Emerson Elementary — Butte
